Redskins-Steelers storylines preview
The 3-4 Redskins will try to get back to .500 as they head to Pittsburgh this Sunday to take on the 3-3 Steelers.
A win would keep Washington very much in the post-season conversation and in the division hunt with a chance to generate some serious momentum if they handle their business the following week against the Panthers - the last game before their bye.
A loss however, would dig a 3-5 hole and setup a litany of must-win situations in order to remain relevant in the league and contenders in the NFC East.
For RG3, it will be his first game versus "Big Ben" as well as his first experience in the heart of Steeler Nation and those terrible towels.
But more important than RG's "firsts" will be how Redskins Defensive Coordinator Jim Haslett can plug the gash in the Redskins' secondary. It seems to only open up for brief moments at a time but when it does, game-ending heart-wrenching long bombs seem to gush forth like last week's Eli-to-Cruz TD that left Skins fans dumbfounded and angry.
